My mother is no longer radioactive. Yes that may very well be an odd way to start a blog post but it is something my family is very grateful about. ;) She went to have a stress test done on Monday and they inject a radioactive dye so they could watch her heart. The only problem was she could not touch anyone, especially the little ones, until it had gone away. Twenty-four hours! She could not hold the baby! It was really sad. :( But we poked fun at her anyway! :) Aren't we just the sweetest kids! Chernobyl woman is what we called her. :) It was a very fitting nickname! And really, how often do you get to call someone Chernobyl woman? I just could not pass up that opportunity. So that is why my mother was, but is no longer, radioactive.
